So where do you begin when you are looking for something unique and handmade for your special day? Well, apart from checking out this blog (of course) there are a number of online marketplaces that specialise in handmade products. I have generated a list of seven of my favourite websites below…in no particular order.

I love all of these websites for handmade goodies and all of them have a wedding section where you can find something a little bit different. From my experience as an avid shopper of handmade a lot of designer/makers on these sites are open to custom orders. For example, through Etsy and Folksy you can talk directly to the store owners and ask them if they are able to create something unique. It is a great way to get those exact little touches that you are after but can’t seem to find anywhere. Just don’t forget to check delivery times (particularly if the designer is overseas) and the time it will take for the item to be made.
